2011 Billboard Awards Review: A Show To Remember

On a night in which Beyonce', aka Queen B stole the show with her Run The World (Girls) performance, Eminem proved he was once again king, by winning six awards.
Beyonce's performance followed her acceptance of the night's most prestigious award; the Millennium Award. Their to present and congratulate Beyonce' on her accomplishment were big names such as Lady Gaga, who told Beyonce' You represent the dream, Stevie Wonder, Bono and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Eminem was the night's leading winner. Slim Shady totaled six Billboard trophies including Top Rap Song for Love The Way You Lie, featuring Rihanna, Top Rap Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Album for Recovery, Top Billboard 200 Album, also for Recovery, and his biggest win; Top Artist of The Year.
The Detroit Rapper beat out Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift for Top Artist, and won the Top Rap Album over Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
Rihanna was another artist who went home happy. After co-performing S&M with Britney Spears, the singer won Top Radio Song Artist and Top Female Artist. Nicki Minaj also teamed up with Britney for a remake of Till the World Ends, which followed Minaj played her own hit, Super Bass.
Other hip-hop/rap and R&B winners were The Black Eyed Peas for Top Duo/Group, Bruno Mars for Top Radio Song, Nelly in Top Streaming Song, Usher for Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album and Top R&B Song.
